I have been interested in photography since I was quite young. I can remember being on family vacations and following my dad around as he would take pictures of whatever scenery that happened to be in front of us. As I grew I started taking pictures of my own. It wasn't until my first daughter Hannah was born that I became interested in taking pictures of people. I became obsessed really with taking perfect pictures of her. I started reading every book and magazine I could get my hands on to learn the techniques of professional photographers. How to light her. How to frame her in the picture. Once I started to get the hang of that I wanted better equipment. Studio lighting, a professional camera, then two pro cameras. Once friends and family started seeing the portraits I was creating, they wanted pictures of their own children as well. Before long I was asked to photograph a wedding. I soon realized that photographing newlyweds is truly rewarding. The groom is always so happy and the brides have a glow about them that creates truly beautiful images. Now this hobby has turned into a full blown business. Not a day goes by that I am not taking pictures, editing pictures, or studying photography. I am constantly learning and striving for perfection in every picture I take. Its true to say that this hobby is my passion, and I am grateful for every day that I can pursuer this adventure called photography. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful wife that is so supportive and beautiful children to always be shooting pictures of.
The photos in the slideshow to the left are of my family, Hannah, Emma, Julie and I living life. We love to be on the water wherever that may be and most of the pictures were taken with our point and shoot. Hey, you can't be pro all the time. Right?
